Rick Holman, (co-founder)
Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director
Mr. Holman was president and CEO of Industrial Origami from 2003 to 2009 and has extensive experience as a COO and CFO, including as the founder of Pictos Technologies, Zing, Photoloft, Northwest Broadcasting, and Stainless Steel.
Over the last approximately 20 years, Mr. Holman has created successful financial outcomes for investors on more than ten projects.
He earned a BA from Haverford College, an M.Phil from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
Antony Dodworth, (co-founder)
Chief Technology & Manufacturing Officer & Managing Director
In 2000, Mr. Dodworth joined Rolls Royce and Bentley Motor Cars, working on the original Bentley GT, and rising to Bentley Principle Research Manager, where he remained until 2011. He joined McLaren in 1990 as a Composite Engineer to develop chassis for Formula One race cars, which led to work on the acclaimed McLaren Cars F1 road car. Before McLaren, Mr. Dodworth worked for Leyton House on F1 race cars. His career in the automotive industry began in 1985 at March Engineering doing chassis engineering for Indy 500 race cars
Mr. Dodworth lectures extensively on composite fiber. He also serves on the boards of composite fiber industry associations and has been Co-Chair of the ACE Conference.
Mr. Dodworth has designed, worked on, and built car chassis including the following: March Indy 500, Leyton House F1, McLaren Formula One, McLaren F1 road car, Hyundai Coupe Concept, Cadillac Cien, Jaguar F Type concept, Bentley GT concept, Bentley GT, Bentley GT convertible, Bentley Supersport, Bentley Mulsanne and Bentley T35, as well as a number of other confidential concept cars.
John Knight
Director of Manufacturing
Mr. Knight brings diverse manufacturing experience from quality inspection and supply chain sourcing to identifying how production events and timescales are controlled, resourced and actioned.
Mr. Knight has worked in manufacturing and production for 30 years. He began his career at Eurodix with responsibility for production management and scheduling. He moved to Fisherprint to manage operations and then to Phoenix Hydaulics where he was production and stores manager before joining BLS.
Otto Ori
Director of Business Development (Italy)
Mr. Ori has experience developing plastic covers for agricultural equipment, including hoods and side panels, as well as structural thermoset and thermoplastic parts, including roofs, air ducts, and door hinges while at CNH Industrial. He also has worked in the medical device sector on advanced thermoplastic materials and alloys for implantable products the meet the CE and FDA requirements.
At NTET Group, one of the largest SMC molders in Europe, Mr. Ori managed sales in the transportation sector including multiple Euro 6 compliant vehicle projects.
Mr. Ori’s career in thermoset and thermoplastic composites began in 1995 at TGS Global, a European leader in the fabrication of thermoset components for cars and commercial vehicles. Starting in component development, tooling, and commercial production set up, he moved into sales, handling projects with Ferrari (348, F355, and F360) and Alfa (GTV).
Mr. Ori has a PhD in physics from the Universita di Parma.
Emmanuel Girelli
Director of Business Development (France)
Mr. Girelli has worked in composites for the last 27 years, developing composite parts for commercial vehicles, kitchens and agricultural products among other industry segments.
He began his career as export manager for Bene Benthor a manufacturer of SMC kitchens in 1993. He went on to become CEO of Beaver Molds, a manufacturer of SMC and thermoplastic molds until 2010 when he accepted the position of CEO at EPL, a manufacturer of SMC and thermoplastic parts. Most recently, he was responsible for business development at Persico.
Daniel Mackey, EA.
Director of Finance
Mr. Mackey has more than 15 years accounting experienced. He has experience in multiple industries including manufacturing, real estate and financial service accounting. Mr. Mackey joined BLS six years ago to handle accounting. He has a BA in from St. Mary College
